About this Role

This is a leadership position that leads the strategy and team responsible for executing an integrated policy, political engagement and campaign program.

The role combines deep policy expertise with the ability to cultivate influential relationships across the political and regulatory landscape.

  • Develop and execute a public policy and government relations strategy ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Analyse political, policy and regulatory developments to anticipate risk and opportunity, and translate insights into strategic advocacy and campaign planning.
  • Build and maintain trusted, influential relationships with stakeholders, government officials, and influencers at state and national levels.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Represent your organisation in high-level political and policy forums, advocating for outcomes that support long-term success and value creation.
  • Provide advice and counsel on political, policy and regulatory matters, supporting informed decision-making and risk management.
  • Lead and coach a team fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.
  • Oversee campaign and content development, ensuring messaging is compelling, evidence-based and aligned with values and reputation.
