Exciting opportunity to provide legal assistance to a State Government department based in Fremantle

**Your new company**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Paralegal to join a State Government located in Fremantle. This role requires you to work full time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**
- Assisting with paralegal duties such as drafting legal correspondence and preparing documentation
- File and document management
- Maintaining accurate databases and records
- Managing appointments, coordinating meetings, creating agendas and minute taking
- Supporting contract negotiations and transactional tasks
- Project planning and managing project timelines
- Liaises with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Providing administrative support to the project team

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Prior experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role
- Experience in a corporate or commercial environment
- Previous contracts experience is desirable
- Good communication (written and verbal) skills
- Self-motivation and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience and/or knowledge of Microsoft Project/Planner is desirable
- A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)
