- Conduct daily pre-start checks on vehicles, including refuelling and maintaining the interior to ensure safe and reliable transportation.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, taking care to secure them properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain effective communication with other drivers, supervisors, and customers as needed to resolve any issues or queries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
- A valid Heavy Vehicle (HV) licence is essential for this role, as you will be operating large vehicles to transport goods across various locations.
- Forklift experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in delivering containerized freight within the Mackay region and beyond is also advantageous.
- You must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, as well as a history of safe work practices and excellent communication skills.
