At the forefront of delivering exceptional precinct operations, we seek an accomplished professional to lead our Precinct Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement function.

This role will oversee the strategic and operational management of Sydney Olympic Park, ensuring seamless event coordination, provision of expert advice on infrastructure delivery, and day-to-day management of precinct operations while balancing diverse stakeholder expectations.

A key aspect of this position is to manage the precinct's public spaces and parklands, including major events coordination, safety and security, traffic management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and media. Collaboration with various stakeholders and agencies is essential in influencing major event and infrastructure outcomes in alignment with the precinct's master plan and regulatory frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead interagency collaboration to drive integrated precinct outcomes
  • Manage operational risks and ensure high-quality customer experiences during major events and precinct activations
  • Represent the organization across interagency forums, develop teams to achieve operational excellence, and foster resilient partnerships
Key Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in precinct operations, major event coordination, and stakeholder engagement
  • Leadership experience in urban parks, leisure venues, or event precincts, with qualifications and experience in risk, security, and crisis management
  • Ability to negotiate and influence across government, commercial, and community sectors, and thrive in complex environments with a strategic yet operational mindset
