Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is a critical role in our medical department, responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic services and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient care excellence. This position involves assessing patients, performing diagnostic procedures under supervision, and contributing to the education of medical students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Assess and investigate patients, liaising with consultants for feedback on findings and delivering preliminary reports for review
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the education of medical students, nursing staff, and fellow professionals through mentorship and training
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development to refine expertise and stay current with industry advancements
