Job Opportunity: Senior Speech Pathologist - Team Lead
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Speech Pathologist to lead our clinical team. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and support the team, and provide evidence-based clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the therapy team in delivering high-quality clinical services
- Assess and treat clients in the clinic or via Telehealth
- Manage client onboarding and ensure timely completion of documentation
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and external health professionals
- Occasionally visit clients in the community
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
- SPA membership
- Current Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Eligibility for Medicare Provider Status
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Ability to work independently and seek clinical guidance as needed
- Organisation and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of evidence-based practice
- Commitment to professional development
