  • Manage payroll operations, minimising errors, and optimising processes to improve efficiency.

  • Oversee data management, including recovery processes and data mining for analysis and modelling.
  • Serve as the key system administrator for Kronos, managing system changes, data integrity, and training.
  • Manage the performance and development of the payroll team in line with company HR standards.

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar management role with hands-on payroll processing experience.
  • Payroll Manager's Certificate or Diploma in Payroll Management.
  • Experience with multi-award payrolls, award interpretation, and the sugar industry.
  • Project management experience for payroll systems and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and legislation, including PAYG taxation, payroll tax, workers' compensation, and superannuation.
  • Understanding of industrial relations, the Fair Work Act, and state-based industrial acts.
  • Experience with large-scale corporate payroll and HR systems, preferably SAP, and time and attendance systems like Kronos.
  • Proficiency in data mining, analysis, and modelling.
  • Project management skills for payroll-related projects, such as system implementations and upgrades.
