Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the entire operation of our gym. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Actively promoting our mission of impacting as many lives as possible through the delivery of fun and affordable fitness.
- Overseeing the entire operation of the gym according to defined policies.
- Responsible for the completion of all administrative tasks and reports.
- Supervising all team members.
- Trains new team members.
- Prepares semi-annual team evaluations.
- Responsible for member service.
- Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of the club.
- Authorizes all expenditures.
- Accepts applications and interviews candidates.
- Maintains attendance records and other records required by law.
- Calculates team member hours worked and coordinates with payroll service.
- Manages all marketing efforts.
- Prepares all administrative forms and reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide club with a copy of the First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain within first three weeks.
- Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started.
- Must have completed a National Police Check certificate.
