Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our kindergarten team in Koo Wee Rup. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of young children.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality programs for children. They will also be committed to ongoing professional learning and development to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Job Description

This position has been created as part of the recently implemented Teachers Enterprise Agreement 2025, which reflects our commitment to excellence in educator conditions and professional practice. The new agreement includes key enhancements such as increased dedicated time for Educational Leaders and programming, additional child-free days and up to 15 weeks of paid parental leave.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Relevant experience working with young children
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • VIT Registration
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
