Senior Software Engineer - Electronic Trading Systems

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of an in-house built electronic trading platform for interest rate swaps (eIRS). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting and scaling mission-critical components, including RFQ workflows, pricing integration, trade execution logic, and dealer UIs.

This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge trading system development in partnership with quants, traders, and technologists. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing eIRS application architecture and infrastructure
  • Developing and testing complex software components, including RFQ state machines and pricing event wiring
  • Collaborating with quant teams to integrate core pricing models and relative value analytics
  • Leading engineering decisions on nested feeder curve implementations and mentoring engineers across UI, platform, and backend domains

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems architecture
  • Experience with IRS market platforms and strong understanding of IRS instruments, pricing conventions, and swap templates
  • Familiarity with AWS services, Kafka/EventHub, DevSecOps/CI/CD technologies, and modern SRE technology
