Full-time Care Support Specialist position available with competitive salary.

Work in a dynamic team and provide individualised, person-centred care to clients with diverse support needs. You will play a vital role in promoting well-being, independence, and social inclusion in alignment with NDIS standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct assessments of client needs and contribute to the development of individualised care and support plans that reflect NDIS objectives and personal preferences.">
  • Deliver personal care and daily living assistance, including support with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and household tasks, to promote wellbeing and independence.">
  • Support clients in accessing healthcare services, community participation opportunities, and structured social programs to encourage inclusion and personal development.">
  • Apply behavioural and emotional support strategies, providing appropriate responses in situations involving mental health challenges or crisis intervention.">
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, case notes, and progress reports in line with organisational policies and NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.">
  • Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and community service providers to ensure coordinated and holistic service delivery.">
  • Contribute to the orientation, training, and guidance of new staff, promoting safe practices and a consistent, person-centred approach to care.">

Qualifications: Relevant qualification, minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, demonstrated understanding of person-centred care principles and quality service standards, excellent communication skills, empathy, and adaptability to diverse needs.

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
