Risk Management is a critical function within our organization, responsible for developing and deploying risk frameworks to allow us to take conscious exposures to various types of risks.

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Executive to join our team, who will work closely with policy teams and business units to implement our risk management strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating best practice standards of credit origination, analysis, review, and recommendation.
  • Delivering insightful advice to internal clients, working with them to ensure solutions focus for clients and transactions.
  • Analysing industry changes which might impact risk outcomes, being able to recognise and recommend appropriate changes to structuring of credit proposals to control and manage these changes.
  • Meeting with external clients to develop a thorough understanding of their business, while maintaining the requirement of independent risk assessment.
  • Reviewing transaction documentation in consultation with Bankers and legal counsel.
  • Working efficiently and effectively to optimise credit decisioning processes and turnaround times.
  • Striving for on-going improvement of the Risk Management culture by actively looking to simplify policies and systems so that we can provide excellent customer service.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Experience in a credit risk position, including exercising a personal delegation in a major financial institution.
  • High level diversified industry knowledge and experience in Agribusiness and Commercial risk management.
  • Nurtured and maintained key internal stakeholder relationships, and client relationship management experience.
  • Ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly to new situations.
  • Ongoing awareness of ESG issues and the impact on credit risk.
