
Clinical Nurse Specialist for Cancer Care

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality cancer care services. This is a temporary part-time position, requiring 20 hours of work per week until 10 May 2026.
The successful candidate will have current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and relevant postgraduate qualifications in specialty fields.
Key responsibilities include managing complex clinical care and service delivery issues, exercising extended autonomy of decision-making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and applying professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
The ideal candidate will possess high-level written and verbal communication skills, be able to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others, and have demonstrated competence in the use of health-related information technology.

Selection Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Relevant Postgraduate qualifications in specialty fields and at least 3 years recent experience working in the specialty clinical area.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision-making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of health-related information technology.
- Demonstrated previous cancer care experience in an acute care facility.
