Cancer Care Specialist

Seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our Hurstville clinic, offering specialised cancer care services.
Cancer Care SpecialistThe ideal candidate will be a part of a close-knit team of nurses who deliver best practice care in Radiation Therapy, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient experiences.
This is a full-time position, on a maximum term contract through to February 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend patient assessments and establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional support.
- Provide comprehensive patient education and collaborate with medical professionals.
- Maintain own professional development and adhere to policy and procedure.
- Contribute to the team effort by assisting with goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy.
- Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
