Job Opportunity: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Cancer Care Coordinator
The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist - Cancer Care Coordinator is to coordinate cancer care services and provide high-quality patient-centered care.
About the Role
This clinical nurse specialist will be responsible for managing complex clinical care and service delivery issues, developing and implementing clinical management plans, and exercising autonomy in decision-making within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cancer care services and develop clinical management plans
- Manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues
- Exercise autonomy in decision-making within a multidisciplinary team
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and staff
- Develop and facilitate patient and carer education
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in specialty field and at least 3 years recent experience working in the specialty clinical area
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
