The role of the Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse (PCSN) is to provide expert nursing care, information, education, and support to patients and their relatives/carers diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency;">
  • A minimum of five years full-time postgraduate experience in a specialty field;">
  • An approved postgraduate qualification or evidence of working towards a Master's level qualification;">
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework;">
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;">
  • Ability to undertake quality improvement and research activities that influence and enhance clinical practice.">
