Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic to join our team in Mackay, QLD. As a valued member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our heavy machinery.

Job Description:

As a Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and maintaining heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with heavy equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian-recognized HD trade qualifications including workplace licenses
  • Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, or Hitachi mining equipment
  • Sound knowledge in Hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems
  • Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace
  • Pre-employment medical, DAS, NPC, and valid Driver's Licence
