Heavy Duty Mechanic Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to lead our workshop team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with heavy equipment and a strong background in component rebuilds.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a leading hand or similar role, a trade certificate in automotive or engineering, and a strong understanding of occupational health and safety measures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including complex repairs on Caterpillar transmissions, torque converters, diffs, and final drives
  • Rebuilding hydraulic cylinders and other components
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Key qualifications include:

  • A trade certificate in automotive or engineering
  • Prior experience as a leading hand or supervisor
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety measures
