Diesel Fitter

We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our Central Workshop Maintenance team. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and operating systems and working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake troubleshooting, fault finding, breakdown and preventative maintenance on Heavy Mobile Equipment.
  • Achieve performance targets in compliance with statutory, safety, health and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Cert III in Engineering - Diesel Fitter or equivalent).
  • Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Minimum of C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Experience with safety management systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Auto Electrical experience is not essential but highly desirable.
