Job Title

A Heavy Plant Mechanic is required to perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy plant machinery and trucks.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill a hybrid role that involves both workshop and field-based responsibilities across multiple sites in Brisbane, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy plant machinery and trucks
  • Provide breakdown support and fault diagnostics in the field
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards for safety and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with a skilled team while also working independently
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
  • Strong hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
  • Experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
  • Auto electrical experience (highly regarded)
  • HR and Forklift licences (desirable)
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
