Job Description

MDD Heavy Industries is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Electrician to join their team in Mackay Eton QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining, testing, and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy machinery/equipment.
  • Inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other vehicle and machinery parts.
  • Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubricating equipment and parts.
  • Undertaking inspections, assessments, and maintenance on vehicles and heavy machinery/equipment.

Skills & Abilities :

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Mobile Plant Technology or relevant qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
