Job Summary:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Pastry Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.

The Role:

- Provide top-notch, professional service to guests.

- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks and adherence to service standards.

- Effectively manage outlets and banquet operations according to established guidelines.

- Represent the Culinary Department in the absence of the Pastry Chef.

- Participate in developing and implementing marketing strategies for each outlet.

- Monitor and control food stock effectively by managing inventory in a timely manner.

- Coordinate with the Executive Chef to develop training plans for Chefs, optimizing productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Management preferred.

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.

- Rotational experience across the kitchen.

- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and skills.

- Proficiency in computing skills (e.g. Microsoft Word).

- Valid working rights in Australia.
