About the Role

We are seeking a Works Monitoring Officer to support the safe and efficient completion of road maintenance works in Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for tracking works delivery, coordinating responses to network incidents, and liaising with inspectors and supervisors to prioritize urgent hazard rectification works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track works delivery in real-time to minimize disruption and ensure safe and efficient completion
  • Coordinate responses to network incidents and emergencies, updating the DTP Traffic Management Centre as necessary
  • Liaise with inspectors, supervisors, and the pre-works team to prioritize completion of urgent hazard rectification works
  • Apply jeopardy management principles and escalation protocols to maintain compliance with Section 750 PB requirements and contract KPIs
  • Produce shift completion reports highlighting any negative variances to the shift plan
About You

We are looking for a committed team player with at least three years' experience in monitoring, coordinating, or delivering high-volume works in a road maintenance or civil construction environment. You will have sound knowledge of work methodologies for road maintenance operations, including safety, traffic management, access, permit, and licensing requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a relentless focus on workforce, road user, and community safety.
