Job Summary

The Department of Justice is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Registry Clerks or Senior Registry Clerks on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Principal Registrar and contribute to the operation of the Tribunal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Principal Registrar, including preparing documents, managing files, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with the coordination of Tribunal proceedings, including scheduling hearings and preparing court documents.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including judges, lawyers, and other Tribunal staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Tribunal.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High level of administrative skills and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.

Selection Criteria

  • Relevant administrative experience.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
