Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Tasmanian Government. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
