Respiratory and Sleep Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory and Sleep Physician to join our dynamic team at Launceston General Hospital. As a key member of our Respiratory Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with respiratory and sleep disorders
- Perform bronchoscopy procedures, including linear and radial endobronchial ultrasound and other advanced procedures
- Conduct pleural ultrasound and pleural procedures
- Participate in quality assurance activities, educational meetings, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Supervise and support junior registrars and resident medical officers
- Holds specialist registration
- Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway
- Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an IMG with a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the specialty
- Permanent day worker position with on-call working 76 hours per fortnight
- Competitive salary range of $210,000 - $310,349 per annum, pro rata
- 11.5% superannuation
- Access to salary packaging
- Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $28,389 per annum, pro rata
- Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,480 per annum, pro rata
- Relocation and commencement support available up to $15,000 for approved appointees
