Melba Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Ballarat region. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
  • Accompany clients to social events, work, and appointments, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Administer medication and provide general care and support as needed.
Requirements
  • A passion for working with people and a desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide support to colleagues when needed.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training to enhance your practice.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster, and current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
