About the Role

KINNECT is seeking a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in the Hunter Region. As a Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping injured workers return to work and providing workplace rehabilitation services to employers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work.
  • Develop and implement effective return-to-work plans in collaboration with employers and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to employers on workplace modifications and injury prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between treatment and return-to-work.
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for workplace modifications to prevent injuries.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment and work collaboratively with employers and healthcare professionals.
