Job Summary
This role will be based in a state-of-the-art facility, providing a comprehensive range of services to support individuals in their recovery from injury or illness. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing clinical decision-making abilities to aid individuals in their recuperation from injury or illness.
- Developing and implementing recovery at work plans, job task analysis, labor market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.
- Handling cases related to return-to-work for various types of insurance referrals, including Workers Compensation, Comcare, CTP, and Life Insurance.
- Conducting appropriate evaluations, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLs), to offer comprehensive assistance.
- Collaborating and communicating with clients, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Report writing.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
- Full AHPRA registration or ESSA.
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
- A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
- No previous experience is required.
