Job Summary

This role will be based in a state-of-the-art facility, providing a comprehensive range of services to support individuals in their recovery from injury or illness. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing clinical decision-making abilities to aid individuals in their recuperation from injury or illness.
  • Developing and implementing recovery at work plans, job task analysis, labor market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.
  • Handling cases related to return-to-work for various types of insurance referrals, including Workers Compensation, Comcare, CTP, and Life Insurance.
  • Conducting appropriate evaluations, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLs), to offer comprehensive assistance.
  • Collaborating and communicating with clients, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Report writing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Full AHPRA registration or ESSA.
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • No previous experience is required.
