We are currently seeking a Casual Depot Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our customer service unit, you will play a vital role in sorting recyclable items into their correct categories, providing accurate refunds to customers, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their recycling needs
  • Sorting recyclable items into designated categories
  • Transporting items to storage areas using forklifts or manual handling
  • Ensuring customers have a positive experience and are likely to return
  • Cash handling and processing transactions accurately
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or risks
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction

To succeed in this role, you will possess previous customer-facing experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or similar environments. Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is also desired.
