Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Management Associate to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the entire cash receipt process.

  • You will verify, classify, compute, post, and record cash receipt data accurately and efficiently.
  • Process cash and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit bank deposits electronically.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
  • Facilitate payment of past due invoices using reminders and statements.
  • Generate reports detailing cash receipt status and send to management.
  • Communicate via telephone and email with customer accounts to attain payment for billed goods while maintaining documented progress on each account.
  • Work closely with the controller and associates for timely monthly closings and verify accuracy of accounting transactions and data.
  • Maintain various internal accounting reports and financial controls.
  • Perform other duties, including coordination of special projects as assigned.
