We are seeking an innovative HR Manager to join our team at The Next Step. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and delivering various HR activities, including recruitment, training, compliance, and employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with leadership to assess staffing needs, streamline the recruitment process, and enhance the onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for emerging leaders and support managers in fostering employee growth and performance management.
  • Employee Wellbeing and Culture: Plan events and initiatives to promote a positive company culture, while actively promoting core values and gathering employee feedback.
  • Policy Compliance and Safety: Oversee the HR team to ensure adherence to local labor regulations and implement health and safety policies for a supportive work environment.
  • Employee Relations Management: Address employee relations issues in partnership with leadership and coordinate with legal partners for relocation and visa processes.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Established experience in a similar position for small, nimble organisations where you happy to be hands on in all HR areas.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing a HRIS.
  • Experience working with creative types and ensuring they are engaged and supported.
