Compliance Officer

Challenge Community Services is seeking a highly skilled Carer Compliance Officer to ensure the organization's compliance with internal and external requirements related to Foster Carers.
The successful applicant will conduct regular reviews, maintain compliance databases, and support potential foster carers through the authorization process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular reviews of carer compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance databases
- Support potential foster carers through the authorization process
- Deliver Shared Lives training and assess potential placement options for children and young people
- Coordinate foster care activities and events
We are looking for someone with:
- Qualifications in Community Services or a related field, or relevant experience in the OOHC sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to write comprehensive assessment reports with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience in using client management systems and databases
- Required checks include a current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and full COVID vaccination status
- Driving license and ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Applications are invited from individuals with experience in:
- Using the ACWA Step by Step tool or other assessment tools
- Facilitating Shared Lives training or group-based training
- Using the NSW Carers Register
