Our club offers a range of facilities for our 8,000 strong members, including 93 gaming machines, TAB, Keno, Sports Lounge, Bistro, function rooms, auditorium, live entertainment, synthetic bowling green, BBQ, and outdoor entertainment area.

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Chief Operating Officer to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maximising the profitability and efficiency of all business units within the company, ensuring cross-functional coordination, and motivating, coaching, and leading staff within the company and its various business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maximise the profitability and efficiency of all business units within the company and ensure cross-functional coordination.
  • Motivate, coach, and lead staff within the company and its various business operations.
  • Ensure morale and commitment to the company and business objectives are maintained at highly effective levels.
  • Be overall responsible and delegate as appropriate the management of the day-to-day operations and management issues of the various business units, including legal and legislative requirements.
  • Assist with the development of company policies, procedures, and implementation as required by legislative requirements to ensure the company is compliant in all areas of operations.

Requirements

  • Sound business and operational skills acquired within successful Senior Management roles.
  • RCG, RSA, Licensee, Advanced Licensee Certification, and Mandatory Club Secretary Training with the Club Managers Association (or willingness to do so upon appointment).
  • Familiarity with the requirements of a licensed venue, particularly those relating to compliance and legislation issues, and general management aspects of the club, including but not limited to gaming (System 7000), Food & Beverage (Senpos), Financial Management & Reporting (MYOB), Membership (System 7000), Reporting to and working with a board, Customer service, KPI Implementation and monitoring.
