About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Plena Healthcare. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical services to our clients in Residential Aged Care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering clinical services to clients
  • Service RAC clients in accordance with treatment plans
  • Transport residents to and from therapy sessions
  • Set up and pack away therapy equipment
  • Collect referrals and perform administrative tasks
  • Order prescribed equipment
  • Run exercise groups and programs
  • Support initiatives to meet client and contract expectations
Requirements
  • Minimum Cert III Allied Health Assistant or equivalent
  • Australian working rights
  • Willing to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check
  • Healthcare knowledge
  • Time management and accountability
  • Clinical knowledge
  • Communication skills
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle
