Job Opportunity: Allied Health Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team as an Early Supports Specialist. This role will involve working with families and children with disabilities to provide high-quality early intervention services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical mentoring and support to staff to ensure high-quality early intervention services.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans for children and families.
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies to support children's developmental needs.
  • Provide coaching and upskilling to families to support their child's development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice guidelines and principles in early childhood intervention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in allied health with a paediatric caseload.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and the ability to use this knowledge to coach and upskill families.
  • Experience working with the NDIS scheme is desirable.
  • Current Driver's Licence - P1 minimum.
  • Valid Working with Children's Check Clearance.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS WC) or willingness to obtain.
  • Fully vaccinated in accordance with current Northcott and NSW Health Regulations and requirements.
