Reliability Engineer for Rollingstock Fleet

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team and contribute to the improvement of our rollingstock fleet's reliability and availability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience in maintenance and reliability engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) strategies to reduce maintenance costs and improve fleet performance
  • Conduct failure mode, effect and criticality analysis (FMECA) to identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams on reliability investigations and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement condition monitoring processes to improve efficiencies and safety

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-qualified in mechanical, electrical, or condition monitoring-related engineering
  • Proven experience in maintenance and reliability engineering and/or condition monitoring of equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build successful stakeholder relationships
