Job Title: Rollingstock Defect Coordinator

Job Overview:

The primary objective of this position is to provide expert support in managing and resolving Rollingstock defects, ensuring minimal disruption to train services across the country. This role will be instrumental in developing effective strategies for rectifying or dealing with Rollingstock defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience working with Rollingstock.
  • Must hold an Electrical and/or Mechanical Fitter Licence.
  • Extensive knowledge of technical, operational, and maintenance aspects of locomotives or wagons and other related Rollingstock.
  • High level of analytical and conceptual skills applied to recognizing problems, problem-solving, analyzing data, and drawing logical conclusions in the Rollingstock maintenance environment.
  • High level of technical systems knowledge, including SAP, RICS, Microsoft Suite, and other condition monitoring software.
  • Sound knowledge of train handling, operational aspects, and emergency response procedures.
