Downer **Rail and Transit Systems (RTS)** is proud to be a leading provider of Rollingstock assets and management in Australia**.** We are looking to welcome a Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our growing, TLS team.

Reporting directly to the TLS Readiness Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance services are delivered in line with an established asset management framework and leading the Fleet Maintenance teams to success. You will be accountable for:

- Establishing and maintaining robust fleet maintenance processes and procedures
- Developing Subject Matter Experts (SME's) within the team and succession planning
- Motivating teams and driving a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the business
- Monitoring and reporting on costs and performance
- Ensuring all staff are working to a safe standard and compliant with all OH&S regulations.

This is a fulltime, permanent role, based in Brisbane initially, and will require regular travel to our maintenance facility in Ormeau, QLD

**About You**:

- 7+ years relevant experience in maintenance management, ideally in Rollingstock
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or management
- Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to work
- Proven experience managing large teams
- Qualifications in LEAN methodology, Risk Management or Lead investigator desirable
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
