Hotel Front Office Team Leader Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Front Office Team Leader to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Front Office team, developing and delivering comprehensive staff training programs, planning for future staffing needs, and ensuring 100% IHG brand compliance in the Front Office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach Front Office colleagues to enhance performance and drive development.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive staff training programs to ensure staff are properly trained on quality and service standards.
- Plan for future staffing needs and complete all stages of IHG Recruitment on-boarding.
- Drive team performance related to the hotel's soft skills, including Guest Love, Loyalty Recognition, and Problem Handling.
- Ensure team members are up-to-date with core and essential trainings and have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their roles effectively.
Key Areas of Focus:
- Guest Experience: Assist in the development and implementation of quarterly action plans to achieve optimum guest satisfaction through Heartbeat and social media.
- Responsible Business: Ensure IHG metric tools/audits are used and monitored to ensure total guest satisfaction and hotel compliance with brand standards.
- Finance: Prepare Front Office rosters, monitor payroll, handle credit and financial transactions, and manage departmental CSA compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
