Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment, and visually inspect tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and locate shut-off valves and utility shut-offs for buildings, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in hotel engineering and maintenance to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting preferred.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus; supervisory experience beneficial.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders, and enter and locate work-related information using computers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Related work experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
  • Supervisory experience beneficial.
