Our transport planning and advisory team is seeking a Graduate Transport Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, designing the future of engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare transport impact assessments and reports, utilizing technical skills and creativity.
  • Engage in various engineering design tasks, including creating drawings, reports, presentations, and regulatory applications.
  • Design road, intersection, and parking layouts using MicroStation software.
  • Develop designs through sketches, electronic models, and diagrams, and prepare documentation for engineering phases.
  • Perform calculations, spreadsheet assessments, and intersection analysis using SIDRA Intersection software.
  • Collect and analyze data, such as traffic, parking, and crash data, using Excel and PowerBI tools.
  • Communicate with clients and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Adhere to quality, safety, and environmental systems.
  • Contribute to business development by developing proposals and bids.
  • Conduct site surveys, investigations, and feasibility studies, sometimes requiring flexible working hours.

This role enables you to develop your skills and knowledge in transportation planning and advisory, working on innovative and sustainable solutions that make a positive impact locally and globally.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil), Urban Planning, or equivalent.
  • Possess passion for learning and problem-solving.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post graduation.
