Geotechnical Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking talented Geotechnical Engineering Graduates to join our team in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience to develop their skills and knowledge in designing the future of engineering.

  • Our team is looking for individuals with a strong interest in field geotechnical investigations, including logging and supervision of geotechnical drilling activities.
  • Eligible candidates will have a Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering degree with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of their university studies.
About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating and managing site investigations to deliver geotechnical investigative reports, including interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis and making recommendations.
  • Undertaking geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls.
  • Contributing to the delivery of projects, ensuring work outputs are of a high technical standard.
  • Assisting with interpretation and analysis of data to develop and implement practical and commercial solutions.

  • Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
