Electrical Design Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Electrical Design Team in Melbourne.

As an Electrical Design Trainee, you will be responsible for designing additions and alterations to the electricity distribution network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing overhead, underground electrical lines, and structures;
  • Scoping and estimating projects;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Upon completion of the three-year program, you could step into one of the following roles:

  • Technical Design Officer: leading the design of alterations to the network ready for construction;
  • Project Manager: overseeing the delivery of projects to connect customers or improve the network;
  • Customer Requests Officer: providing quotations and information to new customers;
  • Maintenance Officer: ensuring the network operates safely;
  • Technical Drafting Officer: creating detailed construction and engineering drawings.
