Insurance Account Manager

About the Role:
Marsh Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Account Manager to join our team in Sydney. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for implementing Client First Principles across your portfolio of larger mid-market and smaller SME clients within our Commercial practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Client First Principles across your portfolio of clients.
- Effectively collaborate with all team members to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Liaise with the onshore and offshore Marsh Administration Teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and documentation requests.
- Develop and implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
- Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims colleagues in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
Requirements:
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
- Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) highly desirable.
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products, and service.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Developed negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and good time management skills.
