Dementia Consultant



Seeking a skilled and compassionate Dementia Consultant to join our team.



Job Description:

As a Dementia Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals living with dementia, their families, and caregivers. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing innovative strategies to prevent, minimize, or respond to changes in behavior related to dementia.



You will work closely with clinicians, carers, and families to understand the impact of dementia on each individual and develop personalized support plans. Your ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and prioritize multiple tasks will be essential in delivering high-quality care.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in supporting people living with dementia
  • Experience in Australian residential aged care and/or community aged care
  • High level of negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Stakeholder management
