About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Philanthropy Development Officer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about building relationships and securing philanthropic income to support our mission.

As a Philanthropy Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with donors and stakeholders to increase philanthropic income.

You will work closely with our Fundraising and Philanthropy Manager to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with wills and trusts, and be able to establish and maintain strong collaborative partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage relationships with key donors
  • Manage administration of confirmed bequest donors
  • Liaise with solicitors to ensure timely administration of estates
  • Develop relationships to secure future gifts

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in dealing with wills and trusts
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong collaborative partnerships
  • Comfortable working within an ambiguous environment that is experiencing rapid growth
  • Ability to build a growth mindset
  • Knowledge on family provision law, fundraising practices and grant management experience is highly desirable
