About the Role

The Technical Delivery Manager will oversee the technical execution of projects, manage technical teams, and ensure timely delivery in alignment with business objectives. This position is based in Canberra (preferred), with consideration given to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide for candidates willing to work at least three days in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations through business analysis and management consulting.
  • Manage project scope from inception to closure, defining and developing implementation schedules and project budgets.
  • Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off, ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure project consultants deliver to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership, ensuring technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, including developers, engineers, and other technical professionals.
  • Identify and manage risks related to technical delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and support teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

Mandatory Criteria

  • Experience and knowledge in delivering cybersecurity and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, and budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.
  • Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment.
  • And/or Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT Environment.
