About the Role

The Empire Group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of technical projects and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical execution, managing technical teams, and ensuring timely delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations through business analysis and management consulting.
  • Manage project scope from inception to closure, defining and developing implementation schedules and project budgets.
  • Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off, and ensure effective completion of project milestones, controlling project scope and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure project consultants deliver to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership, ensuring delivery processes are efficient and cost-effective.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, including developers, engineers, and other technical professionals.
  • Identify and manage risks related to technical delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to solve complex technical challenges.

About You

We are seeking someone with experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints, and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.

Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment are highly desirable.

Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to minimize the organization change impact in order to successfully implement Cyber Security mitigations is also essential.
