Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to contribute to the maintenance operations for Maritime products and associated assets and equipment. This individual will conduct rapid Logistics Support Analyses to identify areas for improvement in supply chain, maintenance, and support operations.

The successful candidate will have experience with configuration management and product lifecycle management concepts, as well as proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

About the Role:
  • Rapidly identify areas for improvement in supply chain, maintenance, and support operations.
  • Conduct Logistics Support Analyses to inform product design and support planning.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to integrate logistics considerations into product development.
  • Determine and steward spare parts provisioning lists, publications, and training requirements.
  • Populate the Bill of Materials (BOM) with critical attributes and prepare the loading of the As-Maintained BOM.
  • Monitor the configuration of As-Maintained Assets and feed back critical design changes into the engineering design process.
  • Partner with engineering teams to set Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and Configuration Management (CM) requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in technician roles in similar high-rigor environments (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices).
  • Experience with configuration management and product lifecycle management concepts.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD-1388, S3000L).
  • Proficiency in PLM and ERP systems.
  • Database skills with SQL queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Negative Vetting 2 security clearance.
